Don’t leave it too late

photo (10)A friend of mine killed himself last week. He never felt understood, he was holding on to traumas from his childhood and life got so painful he could see no other way out. It was his last attempt to get his power back.

How many people are there out there suffering like this? Holding on to hurt from the past and not getting the healing they need. Not expressing themselves fully to others or reaching out for help. Blocking out the pain with drugs or alcohol.

It’s incredibly sad and a reminder to us all to wake up now to how quickly life can be taken. If you’re in pain reach out and ask for help. If you know someone is struggling help them.

We do have it in our power to choose how we wish to be in a situation. We can always choose to be loving to ourselves, to find the help we need, and to do the things that will lift us up. There are people who can help you do this if you don’t feel strong enough yourself.

If this is resonating with you at all or know someone who could use some help making positive change to their life don’t leave it too late. Today could be the day to start to make a difference.

We all deserve to be happy.
